This coach registration is for all individuals that would like to coach with the OBR league.  We are very exited to have you support and lead our children through coaching.

All Managers, Coaches, Assistants, etc. that will have regular contact with our players will be required to register here and complete the Background Check. The Background Check system will provide us with either a Green Light (ok) or Red Light (not ok). If a Red Light is received the OBR Board will have the right to review the individual and their record. The Board, with a 2/3 vote, can elect to allow the individual to participate. If a 2/3 vote is not achieved, the individual may elect to come in-person in front of the Board for an appeal. The Board can grant an appeal with a 2/3 vote. If no appeal is granted the individual may not participate in league events. No individual is allowed regular and consistent contact with our league players until either a Green Light Background Check is achieved or the Board grants access as described above. This is critical for the safety and welfare of our children and no exceptions will be allowed at any time.

The TBall division is for players that are 4 to 6 years old.

Advanced T-Ball is a competitive division that will use a combination of a pitching machine (set at slower speed than Rookies or about 38 mph) and a tee if the batter is unable to put the ball in play off the pitching machine. The new division will keep score and record outs.  

Advanced T-Ball is designed for 6 year olds and beginning 7 year old players to gain valuable experience on the pitching machine prior to playing in the Rookies division.

The Rookies division is for players that are 7 to 8 years old.  We prefer (not required) that 7 year olds will have some baseball experience in order to play in this division.  If this is your child's first year playing organzied baseball then we recommend that you sign up your child for our Tball Advanced division. We will hold evaluations to make sure that you have placed your child in the proper division before the season starts. 

The Rookies division uses a Louisville Blue Flame pitching machine to pitch to all batters set to about 43 mph. The game score is recorded and standings are kept.

The season will consist of 8-10 games.
