OBR Families,

The 11U Storm/All-Stars had a very successful performance in the Southeast Regional tournament in Williamsburg, VA. Here is a recap of the games:

Game #1 West Raleigh, NC 13   Orlando Storm 3

West Raleigh capitalized on 4 home runs to defeat the Storm 13-3. Highlights came from Jackson Stephens solo homerun that cleared the 200ft fence by over 50ft. The Storm had a solid defensive performance from Jackson Stephens, Nolan Juvers and Garrett Perpich and Morgan DeLaGarza.

Game #2 Orlando Storm 5    Julington Creek, FL 3

Jake Kelvington and Aiden Retallack combined for the win on the mound. Aiden helped his cause with a double and solo homerun. Nathan Seeber drove in three runs with a homerun in the bottom of the third. Nate Bedell, Jackson Stephens and Tank Kelley also had hits for the Storm. Defensive standouts were Brady Appel and Tanner Reid.

Game#3 Glen Allen, VA 11     Orlando Storm 2

Glen Allen came out in the first and scored 4 runs. The Storm responded with a two run homerun by Brady Appel in the bottom of the first. However, the bats went relatively quite after the first. Tanner Reid, Jackson Stephens and Jake Kelvington ended the game with hits but the Storm could not get runs across the plate. Defensive standouts were Tank Kelley, Brady Appel and Garrett Perpich.

Game #4 Orlando Storm 7    Surry North, NC   1

Tanner Reid and Nolan Juvers combined for the win. Strong defensive plays by Kymani Atterbury, Morgan DeLaGarza and Brady Appel kept the Storm alive in the early innings. Tank Kelley, Tanner Reid and Nate Bedell had two hits each and Garrett Perpich and Nathan Seeber had three hits. Seeber had 6 RBI's on a two run homerun in the first and a grand slam in the 6th.

The 11U Storm/All-Star family would like to thank our OBR families and the College Park community for their unbelievable support. This has been a historical summer and we look forward to making more history next season!
